What is the basketball middle finger trend?

It is a short vertical AI video of a one-on-one game under the lights. The dunker crosses the defender over, leaps right over them for a one-handed dunk, raises the middle finger in mid-air and finishes in front of a crowd. The joke is always who you cast: who dunks, and who gets dunked on.

Where it came from

It started with a real streetball clip posted on TikTok in October 2026 by @dihanator4000, captioned "Bro did an emote mid dunk". It passed a million plays within days. A day later @teuteuf6 posted the first AI version, "Mon prime 1v1 basket", and CapCut templates followed. Read the full trend story.
